Welcome to Bright Idea Academic Coaching! We guide high-school seniors through the college application process using a personalized approach that illuminates their unique path forward. We meet students wherever they are in the process, whether they are just beginning or need help finalizing their applications right before the deadline. Our step-by-step personal approach helps students discover their own strengths, find their authentic voice, and complete their applications with clarity and confidence.

Unlike corporate college admissions firms, which move students through a standard process on a rigid timeline, Bright Idea Coaching honors the student’s unique needs and develops a personalized application plan for each individual client. We help high school seniors with the following aspects of the college applications process:

• Identifying a potential major or area of academic interest
• Writing their resume (or the activity list for the Common Application)
• Writing the Common Application Personal Statement (identifying a topic, drafting the essay, and finalizing it)
• Writing Supplemental Essays
• Writing Scholarship Essays

• Developing a coherent theme for their application that highlights their strengths
